The National Oil Corporation (NOC) yesterday laid the foundation stone for its new clinic in Benghazi.
NOC Chairman, Mustafa Sanalla, yesterday marked the occasion during a ceremony in the western Benghazi suburb of Qanfouda where he was joined by directors of NOC subsidiaries and members of its management board. Speaking at the event Sanalla said: “We are pleased to congratulate everyone on this important development. It’s a priority for the management board to ensure that all our personnel in the Eastern region and their families have access to the best healthcare services. This clinic will be built according to the international standards for healthcare facilities.”
Sanalla said that the project would be fast tracked to be completed within one year, expecting that the new clinic would be operational by next spring. The clinic will have 150-bed capacity with sections covering all specialties, including wards for emergency and staff accommodation. Sanalla underscored that the NOC will deliver on its promise, adding that the ceremony was not just for taking selfies.
